My customer logged a ticket concerning the above error message/flag while trying to open an excel file from his MS Outlook mailbox;
Solution:
- Logon with local Administrator profile
- Click My computer
- Locate folder and search options from "Organize" tab
- Click "View" tab then go to "Advanced settings"
- Select "Show hidden files, folders, and drives"
- Unchecked "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)"
- Navigate to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Content.Outlook
- Delete all the files\folders in that folder(Content.Outlook)
- Log-off Administrator account then allow user to logon again
- Launch Outlook
- Download the file again
